I thought you were a former member of Ordo Templi Orientis. Are you back in?

I have no idea what the Ordo Templi Orientis is. I've also never heard of Golden Dawn or a Gnostic Priesthood organized enough to hold ordinations. Are they supposed to be secret? What does an Initiator do?

I have been, past tense.

If you haven't heard and/or have no idea of what the OTO is, how did you know I was an ex member? Shocked

A Gnostic Priest is a Priest of the EGC (Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica)
The religious branch of the OTO.

An Initiator is an OTO member chartered to initiate people into the OTO.
I was chartered to initiate up to the 3rd degree. Depending on your degree, you may be allowed to initiate others to higher degrees.

Time for you to post your introduction and make sure it is complete.

Is the OTO like the Masonic lodges in that those who want in have to ask, or do they actively recruit?

What are the duties of a Priest of the EGC? Do you have services?

How many degrees are there in the OTO?

Just in case someone else has the same questions:

http://www.oto-usa.org/

Most of those if not all answers can be found there.
