One thread i see in common is the Therapist/Psychiatrist

Have any of these therapists been called to the carpet and trully investigated ?

I know on occasion a couple have been sued.. but is the Psychiatric community doing anything about this ?

I haven't seen any sites where a complete listing of those sued were ever charge, tried and convicted.

I have heard of loss of license to practice, but not any proof of wide investigation to stop this sort of abuse.

Reina Michaelson, is part of the Gaia Guys effort to pursue the OTO in Australia and these (GaiaGuys) were successfully sued and a monetary judgment awarded.

the case may be on appeal and so far the judgment hasn't been announced fully paid or even partially for that matter

They were also supposed to cease and desist in spreading defaming material on their websites but they haven't complied yet. They are still at the game.

Michaelson is one of the people still pushing for some way into stopping non Fundamentalist/Evangelical groups from forming and actively practicing. Although the US has laws that prevent Governmental interference into religious activities, it doesn't stop the G.O.D. Squad from doing it.

Did you ever read "The Handmaidens Tale" ? or there was a book by Starhawk a while ago as well

Both books took place in the scenario of "the Fundies won"

I've been thinking about this... I wonder if it would be possible to obtain a list of therapists who have had their licenses revoked
