I've just started a new program.

basically its going to be a diary/book of shadows/calendar for pagans / mages

I've looked around and i found programs that functioned either as a calendar or a Book of shadows or a magickal/daily diary but nothing that was inclusive of the 3.

Was wodering:

a) Would anyone here be interested in such a program and
b) what kind of features would you like to see in such a program

My reasoning for making this is that i'm a big fan of being able to centralize data, also writing stuff out in a database makes editing and searching alot easier... then when i want to put stuff in a more formalized book of shadows for example, it will have fewer cross outs and ramblings and be more cohesive.

I'm writing this in C#, so it's being done for windows... sorry Mac people.

Any input would be really appreciated. I cant pay anyone for anything however I will give anyone who helps (input, beta testing whatever) a free copy of the software and access to any updates i make.

thanks

Can you find a way to allow for drawings/illustrations to be included?

Sometimes it is easier to draw and let that serve to document for later review.

Perhaps a way to scan in pictures, text, etc would help too.

scan in items no... that would be a function of your scanning software and hardware... however i can set something where you can associate your own images with various entries.

great idea, i didnt think of that one !

Sounds like a very interesting project Fresca, good luck with it, and I look forward to seeing the finished program.

Programming is not my forte, although I have dabbled with many languages over the years,.......some would say I'm still learning English Laughing

If you need a beta tester at any stage, I'd be more than happy to help.
